Attention to traffic problem on Saturday and Sunday

Saturday: Hugely increased traffic volume to get to the first Workshop on Saturday
On Saturday, 5.10.24, there will be a football game at the nearby stadium. Our first workshop and the game start at the same time, so there will be a lot of movement in the trams and the roads getting there! If you come…

  • – By public transport: Expect full trams and noisy football fans.
  • – By car: There will be much more traffic in the area and parking will probably be much more difficult than on Friday. Please check the opening hours of the parking lots as they might be tied to the game.

Either way: Plan more time to get to the location!

Sunday: Road Closures and Public Transport Interruptions on Sunday
On Sunday, 6.10.24, there will be a big running event (Marathon) in Cologne: streets will be blocked and trams don’t run as usual (7:00-16:00). If you are on the right side of the Rhine (Deutz, Mülheim, Poll, Porz) you don’t have to worry. If you are on the left side of the Rhine, please use these options to come to Bürgerhaus Kalk:

  • By public transport: Use RB25, S12, S19 to Kalk Trimbornstraße (you cannot use Trams 1 or 9 properly on the left side of the Rhine)
  • By car: Regarsing the bridges, use the “Zoobrücke” or “Severinsbrücke” to cross to the right side of the Rhine (you cannot use “Deutzer Brücke”).

Plan ahead! The apps (DB, KVB) seem to be showing the right connections, but we are not sure about google maps.

Guidelines for ticket exchange:

We don’t take tickets back, but it is very easy to transfer your ticket:

  • sell your ticket to XY (use our WhatsApp community or Telegram group if you are looking for a ticket or a buyer).
  • write an email to „forro.de.colonia@gmail.com“ with your ticket number, the name of the person buying it „XY“, email subject line: „ticket resale“
  • change the name on your ticket to „XY“ by clicking on the link in your ticket email by pretix
  • send the person XY the confirmation email with the ticket
